Our Client is currently looking foran experienced SAS AML Expert with expertise in SAS 4.2 to design, implement, and optimize SAS Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions. This role is critical in ensuring AML systems align with regulatory requirements and business objectives. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design, configure, and maintain SAS AML 4.2 solutions for transaction monitoring and financial crime detection
  • Manage system lifecycle, including installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
  • Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources into SAS AML systems and develop risk-scoring models.
  • Optimize system performance and scalability through continuous monitoring and enhancements.
  • Ensure AML configurations align with global and regional compliance standards such as FATF, OFAC, and FINTRAC.
  • Support audit and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate system logs and rule configurations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and data engineers to align AML solutions with business needs.
  • Develop custom AML detection scenarios and fine-tune monitoring rules to improve accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide technical leadership and training to junior team members on SAS AML best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience with SAS AML, specifically SAS 4.2.
  • Strong expertise in SAS programming, data management, and analytics.
  • Experience with SAS AML system implementation, architecture, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with AML, KYC, and CTF compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and ETL processes for handling large datasets.
