Job Title: Direct Hire Part-Time Payroll Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time Payroll Accountant to join our team. This role requires 15-20 hours per week, with the potential for additional hours based on workload. The primary responsibility will be processing payroll for clients operating on varying payroll schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for clients on different payroll schedules.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with payroll regulations.
• Collaborate with clients to ensure timely payroll processing.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel is required.
• Experience with 401(k) and retirement plans is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Information:

• This is an in-office role located in Gaithersburg, MD.
• Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
