We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team in Louisville, KY (40223). If you have a passion for welding and fabrication, along with a knack for troubleshooting and reading blueprints, we want to hear from you! This opportunity is 1st shift M-F, 6:00am-2:30pm, and is located in a great spot in the Louisville area. If you have the welding experience but lack fitting experience you are still encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and Flux-Cored Arc welding on various materials.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
• Conduct troubleshooting to identify and resolve welding issues effectively.
• Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by following safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of welding equipment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve problems quickly.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with MIG and Flux-Cored Arc welding processes.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications are a plus.

You should be proficient in:

• Troubleshooting Skills
• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Blueprint Reading

Machines & technologies you'll use:

• MIG Welder
• Flux-Cored Arc Welder

Salary info:

$28 - $30 / hr
