Job Title:

Warehouse Management and Logistics Specialist

Summary:

The primary responsibilities of this role include managing the warehouse, receiving and organizing inventory, and ensuring materials are prepared for production. The employee will collaborate closely with the plant manager to prepare materials for upcoming projects and, when necessary, deliver them to job sites or pick up parts from suppliers.

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Logistics Worker who can also serve as a Delivery Driver and Forklift Operator when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receiving, organizing, and managing of warehouse inventory.
• Plan and organize inventory to ensure the availability of materials for production.
• Prepare materials as directed by the plant manager for specific projects.
• Drive delivery trucks to transport products to job sites and pick up supplies from local vendors as required.
• Safely and efficiently operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory, deliveries, and pickups.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and operational guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license required (commercial driver’s license preferred).
• Proven experience in warehouse management and logistics.
• Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain one).
• Proficiency in computer use, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Priority ERP software is essential.
• Physical ability to perform tasks requiring frequent movement in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Work Environment:

This role involves exposure to a manufacturing environment, including moderate noise, heat, and dust levels.
