Houston Refrigerated Logistics is a small family owned and operated 3PL company located in Houston Texas. Our services encompass regional transportation and refrigerated warehousing services. Started in 2013, HRL has become one of the leading providers of trucking and warehouse services to some of the largest and leading companies in our categories.

Providing JIT and on-time delivery services to many of the largest grocery distribution centers in Texas, our reputation as a trusted service provider to our partners has allowed us 10 straight years of continued growth. We are focused not on providing services to everyone, but excelling at the services we provide to those we work with.

Role Description

This is a full-time position that will require some evening and weekend work, the evening and weekend work is something that can be performed at home instead of in the office setting. Office setting is M-F 8am to 5pm. Our dispatch operations must ensure that all transportation needs of our customers are met. Communication skills are an absolute must as well as a strong ability to multi-task during sometimes stressful and complicated situations. Daily duties includes:

• Dispatching equipment in an ongoing and fast paced basis
• Making shipping and receiving appointments
• Updating customer systems on load movements
• Answering and sending emails
• Answering customer inquiries and calling customers for dispatch information
• Data entry in various platforms
• Clearly communicating with drivers throughout the day
• Load planning and scheduling
• Collecting daily paperwork from drivers

Qualifications

• Dispatching and Communication skills
• Phone Etiquette and Customer Service skills
• Customer Satisfaction skills
• Experience in transportation or logistics is a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required
