YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Data Management & Reporting:

  • Consolidate, analyze, and report data from various transition stakeholders (SFL TAP, VA, DOL, etc.) to monitor program performance.
  • Prepare post-command level briefings and upload data into IMCOM knowledge management portals.

Event Coordination & Support:

  • Coordinate with public affairs and marketing teams to promote job fairs, employment summits, virtual hiring events, and additional transition-related activities.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of locally sponsored events such as job fairs and career days.
  • Manage event logistics, including setup and removal of exhibits and booths.

Data Analysis & Feedback:

  • Analyze data from transition events and provide feedback on participation, offers, and hires.
  • Collect, analyze, and report on customer satisfaction and goal attainment for transitioning service members.

Compliance & Tracking:

  • Track and report on Veterans Opportunity to Work / Career Readiness Standards (VOW/CRS) mandates to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in training and development, HR management, counseling, or a related field (preferred).

Experience:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in career counseling, education, or related fields.
  • Experience in data retrieval, analytics, and reporting related to transition programs.
  • Proven ability to coordinate marketing and outreach efforts.
  • Strong background in tracking, reporting, and briefing on transition-related activities.
  • Hands-on experience setting up and removing exhibits.

Skills & Competencies:

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong ability to consolidate and analyze data for reporting and decision-making.

Communication & Presentation:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including preparing and delivering briefings.

Event Coordination:

  • Ability to manage event logistics and coordinate multiple activities simultaneously.

Organizational Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency with Tools:

  • Skilled in using data management and reporting tools.

Problem-Solving & Initiative:

  • Possess a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a focus on service excellence.

WORK CONDITIONS:

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced, on-site work environment focused on meeting recruitment goals for transitioning military personnel. The role involves interacting with service members and employers, requiring a high level of engagement and adaptability.

Schedule:

  • Full-time position, typically Monday through Friday, with occasional extended hours based on project requirements.

Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily office-based with moderate desk work, computer use, and occasional physical tasks such as setting up for events.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Lift materials up to twenty (20) lbs. may be required.
