Senior Java/Angular Engineer

Location: Austin, TX (4 Days Onsite, 1 Day Remote)

Compensation: $190K - $210K

We’re looking for a Senior Java/Angular Engineer who thrives in a dynamic environment—someone who can balance big-picture thinking with hands-on execution . What You’ll Do:

• Own the Big Picture & the Details – Understand what the product does and explain it with confidence while diving deep into development.
• Develop & Architect – Design scalable, high-performance applications using Angular, TypeScript, and Java microservices in a cloud-based environment.
• Be a Hands-On Leader – Guide your team without direct reports , mentor junior engineers , and bring strong people skills to the table.
• Balance Hands-On Work & Collaboration – Expect a mix of coding, architecture, and strategic discussions , ensuring real impact without getting stuck in endless meetings.
• Wear Multiple Hats – Adapt to shifting priorities, work across the full development lifecycle , and contribute beyond just writing code.
• Automate & Optimize – Drive CI/CD pipeline improvements, API development , and cloud-native best practices.

What You Bring:

• 8 years of experience in Java, Angular, and TypeScript development.
• Ability to see the big picture and articulate product functionality clearly.
• Confidence in fast-paced environments— no hesitation in presenting ideas or solutions .
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, microservices, cloud-native architectures , and API development .
• Strong background in CI/CD, DevOps tools, and infrastructure automation .
• Knowledge of both SQL and NoSQL databases .
• A passion for mentoring, team leadership, and collaboration —this is a senior-level role with no direct reports, but strong leadership influence .
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (advanced degree a plus).
