Senior Superintendent Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Superintendent to oversee and manage daily operations on construction sites. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining compliance with safety regulations and building codes. The Senior Superintendent will supervise workers, subcontractors, and vendors, coordinate with project managers, and foster effective communication among all project stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all construction activities to ensure timely and quality project completion.
• Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project goals.
• Develop and maintain construction schedules, identify and resolve issues.
• Manage procurement, material orders, inspections, and logistics.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and rectify hazards immediately.
• Maintain organized and clean job sites, including construction offices.
• Prepare field reports, quantity tracking, and payment applications.
• Perform constructability reviews and collaborate with design teams for value engineering.
• Travel as needed.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree may be required depending on project needs.
• Minimum 15 years of construction experience, with at least 10 years as a superintendent on projects of similar size and complexity.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience managing projects ranging from $20MM to $50MM.
• Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Skills:

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze problems and make timely decisions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project or Primavera P6).
• Skilled in supervising construction projects and managing diverse teams.
• Knowledge of estimating processes.

Work Environment: This role involves both indoor and outdoor work environments, exposure to physical and atmospheric conditions, and requires close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and computer use.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stoop, kneel, reach, walk, lift, grasp, and perform repetitive motions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Adequate hearing and visual acuity to perform tasks safely.
