Job Description

ASSYST is seeking a skilled SAS Viya Administrator to manage and support a SAS Viya SaaS instance, ensuring smooth operations and data security for a diverse set of users. 

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAS Viya administration and development, as well as expertise in managing user permissions and troubleshooting technical issues.

Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099)
Job Location: Austin, TX (Fully Onsite)

Please Note: Position is 100% Onsite at Austin, Texas (NO REMOTE WORK). Program will only accept local candidates for this position. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain the SAS Viya SaaS environment, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Set up and manage user permissions to maintain data security both externally and between user groups.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to SAS Viya, both on-premise and online.
• Provide support for data management, database concepts, and data manipulation techniques.
• Work collaboratively with business users to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Develop and optimize SAS Viya applications to enhance functionality and efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in SAS Viya administration or development (experience in both is preferred).
• 5+ years of expertise in data management and database concepts.
• 5+ years of experience with data manipulation and cleaning techniques.
• 4+ years of proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues related to SAS Viya (on-premise or online).
• 4+ years of experience in user administration and permissions management.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as a SAS Viya administrator (on-premise or online).
• 2+ years of experience in SAS Viya development.
• 1+ year of excellent communication and collaboration skills to interact effectively with business users.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SAS Viya cloud deployments and integrations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of security best practices for enterprise data platforms.
