Role Overview

Are you a results-driven sales professional ready to introduce a transformative AI solution to Private Equity firms? We are seeking a high-energy, results-driven Sales Manager with 3-5 years of experience in B2B solution sales to expand our presence in Private Equity and Asset Management firms .

This is a hunter role, focused on identifying key decision-makers, demonstrating Sinequa’s AI-powered Workplace Search solution, and delivering clear ROI and business benefits that will land new logos. The ideal candidate is a proactive sales professional, eager to open new doors and expand our presence in the financial sector. Based in New York, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and positioning Sinequa as the go-to AI-powered search provider for financial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and engage key decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Research, Portfolio Managers, M&A managers and Operations Executives) within Private Equity and Asset Management firms.
  • Present and demonstrate Sinequa’s AI-powered Workplace Search solution, showcasing how it revolutionizes how firms find and utilize critical information.
  • Develop compelling business cases, quantifying ROI and strategic benefits to drive adoption.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing high-value deals
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, product, and technical pre-sales) to refine messaging and optimize sales strategies.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and competitive solutions to effectively position Sinequa as an indispensable tool for Private Equity firms.
  • Meet and exceed revenue targets, contributing to Sinequa’s rapid expansion in the Private Equity and Asset Management vertical.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of successful B2B solution sales experience
  • Strong track record of selling to Private Equity and Asset Management firms, with a deep understanding of their business challenges.
  • A hunter mentality—self-motivated, proactive, and eager to break into new accounts.
  • Proven ability to articulate business value, demonstrate ROI, and drive short sales cycles.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Familiarity with AI, Gen AI, enterprise search, data analytics, and workflow automation is a plus.
  • Flexibility to attend in-person client meetings and industry events in New York

The annual compensation ranges from $180,000 to $260,000. This ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
