Job Title: Data Risk Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Data Risk Manager to support enterprise-wide data management, governance, and compliance initiatives. In this role, you’ll ensure adherence to data standards, strengthen governance frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage data integrity, compliance, and risk across the organization.

What You’ll Do

• Ensure compliance with enterprise data governance standards, policies, and procedures.
• Provide expert data risk management guidance and influence policy direction at the enterprise level.
• Build strong relationships with business and data stakeholders to drive alignment and execution of governance priorities.
• Develop and lead strategies that advance data quality, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and report on data management efforts, identify risks or gaps, and present remediation plans to leadership.
• Design and implement data management frameworks, processes, and tools to enhance consistency and transparency.
• Lead organizational change management activities to implement governance processes effectively.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent professional/military experience.
• 3+ years of experience in data management, data governance, data quality, or data warehousing.
• 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis, project management, or audit.
• Strong understanding of enterprise data compliance and governance frameworks.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in risk management, compliance, or anti-money laundering (AML).
• 1+ year of experience with reporting tools such as Tableau or QuickSight.
• 1+ year of experience with data querying using SQL, Python, or Presto.
• 5+ years of experience in data management, data warehouse operations, or quality assurance.
• Experience managing complex data governance initiatives across multiple lines of business.
