Job Description

Talent One Recruitement & Staffing is hiring a Picker Packer to work in the will-call department for a company located in Commerce.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm (overtime and weekends when necessary)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities:

• The candidate will be picking orders in a fast paced environment.
• A cart will be used to pick on foot.
• Have a current forklift certification to drive our electric stand up and sit down forklift.
• Using a handheld RF Scanner (RF Smart Software) to pick orders.
• will need to work on their feet to pick orders all day.
• The candidate will also assist other departments and do other tasks as needed including special projects

Qualifications:

• Must be detail oriented and can multi-task.
• Prior experience picking and packing using a handheld RF scanner.
• Must be able to follows Instructions.
• Able to Pick up quickly in a fast paced environment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Perform the essential functions of the job for an 8-hour workday; with the exception of designated meal and rest periods.
• Detect signs of dangerous obstacles & hear any horns/warning devices up to 30 feet.
• Carrying & lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and work at heights occasionally above 10 feet.
• Work involves: walking, standing, kneeling, stooping, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change quickly.
• Must be able to maintain standing / walking position throughout the workday.
