Job Description

Head of International Markets (Canada & Australia)

Hybrid - 3 days per week in Redwood City, CA, USA & 2 days from home

Basic Salary - US$144,000 - US$180,000

We’re looking for an experienced commercial leader to take ownership of two high-priority international markets and drive growth across both digital and emerging omni-channel retail environments. If you’re energised by building market strategies, managing full P&L performance, and leading cross-functional execution, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact.

What you’ll do

Regional Leadership & P&L Ownership

  • Serve as the business lead for the Canada and Australia markets with full P&L accountability.
  • Develop market forecasts, budgets, and performance plans aligned with revenue, margin, and brand objectives.
  • Define and track KPIs such as revenue, margin, CAC, conversion, and market penetration.
  • Lead regular business reviews, highlighting performance trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Drive seasonal pricing, promotions, and commercial planning with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop and mentor direct reports and support teams to maximise performance and capability.

Omni-Channel & Growth Strategy

  • Lead the transition from an online-only model to an integrated omni-channel strategy, including digital, retail, and wholesale.
  • Identify and prioritise new growth opportunities such as channel partnerships, marketplaces, and category expansion.
  • Partner with consumer and market insights teams to turn data into actionable business decisions.
  • Build business cases for new initiatives and guide execution across ecommerce, marketing, logistics, finance, merchandising, and operations.
  • Advocate for market and customer needs to influence global product, pricing, and channel decisions.

What you bring

  • 7+ years’ experience in international commercial leadership, business management, or omni-channel retail.
  • Experience managing and scaling performance across at least 2 international markets (Canada/Australia strongly preferred).
  • Strong P&L ownership, forecasting, and budgeting exposure.
  • Proven success working across ecommerce, retail, or wholesale channels.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make sound decisions in ambiguity.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred.
