SAIC is seeking a Finance Associate for our North Charleston, SC location. This role is 100% on site.

This position requires a high level of attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, strong time management abilities, and adaptability under pressure to meet frequent deadlines, strong research skills, ability to work well within a team and communicate well both orally and written.

Job Description:

• Executes routine administrative and clerical tasks, handling both routine and non-routine assignments, including special projects and provide backup support. 
• Develops, implements, and/or maintains one or a combination of accounting systems. 
• Uses accounting and financial procedures in resolving problems and preparing recommendations for management based on the financial results of programs.
• Responsible for analyzing current and past budgets, preparing and justifying budget requests, and allocating funds according to spending priorities. 

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree.
• Practical experience in data entry and formatting via common productivity tools such as the Microsoft Office Suite. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with expert-level abilities.
• Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
