What is Katalyst

We work with growing multi-location service-retail and QSR brands to create amazing service delivery experiences and the environments they take place in. We don't fit in the box of an architecture or marketing firm, and we’re not a general contractor, sign or cabinet shop. We’re a service design agency that has brought together a multidisciplinary team including interior architects, graphic designers, industrial engineers, and general misfits then connected them to our industry leading in-house manufacturing facility because we believe that all the cool ideas in the world don’t accomplish anything unless you can execute on them.

The Role

Working on the production team, the Fabricator / Installer produces and installs retail fixtures and furniture from a variety of materials including laminated wood, metal, solid surface, acrylic, glass, lighting and graphics; executing projects to our high-quality standards. Some travel is required.

What we are looking for

• A minimum of 2 years manufacturing and installing experience working in the commercial casework, retail fixture manufacturing, custom fabrication industry or related
• Experience reading technical drawings and executing shop plans
• Someone who is adaptable, flexible and extremely organized and detail oriented
• A team player who works well with others and can collaborate
• A self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and a client service mentality
• Someone who is goal oriented and driven to success by achieving weekly and monthly shop metrics and goals
• Someone who is able to prioritize tasks, deadlines and maintain consistent productivity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Someone who has experience operating a forklift and has a valid driver’s license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
