Job Description

Clayton Services is searching for a Director to join a thriving company in Houston, Texas. The Director will be responsible for leading one of the company's divisions. The ideal Director will be extremely analytical and have previous experience working at a top consulting firm.

Job Type: Direct Hire

Pay Rate: $200,000-$250,000/year plus bonus

Director Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead financial and operational oversight of projects, including budget development, forecasting, financial planning, and more.
  • Gather and analyze data to develop and test hypotheses that lead to actionable recommendations.
  • Work closely with teams to understand unique needs and ensure the successful implementation of solutions.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to provide innovative solutions.
  • Assist with identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Provide strategic insights and guidance.
  • Drive performance benchmarking, market analysis, competitor intelligence, and business development strategies, and shape long-term plans for growth.
  • Direct project execution and delivery across operational geographies and service lines.
  • Ensure efficiency, productivity, quality, and adherence to compliance goals.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment
  • Excellent forecasting, budgeting, and financial modeling skills
  • Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Director Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience working at a top consulting firm is required.
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required.
  • Previous experience working with oil and gas and/or engineering clients is a plus.
