Construction Project Manager – MTA Projects

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a skilled  Construction Project Manager to manage active and upcoming  MTA/NYS projects from pre-construction through closeout. This is a full-time, on-site role based in  Medford, NY , working closely with union field teams, subcontractors, and agency representatives to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations for MTA plumbing/mechanical projects.
• Oversee schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and AIA requisitions.
• Coordinate with field supervisors, engineers, vendors, and clients.
• Monitor budgets, labor hours, and materials to maintain project profitability.
• Enforce safety and compliance with OSHA, union, and agency standards.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of construction project management experience (MTA or public works preferred).
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/plumbing systems and union labor coordination.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and project management platforms.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• OSHA 30 and valid driver’s license required.
