Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Other duties may be assigned.

• Ensure that the customer’s daily delivery and quality requirements are met
• First line of contact for the customer for delivery or quality issues
• Work with the team to root cause and implement corrective actions any delivery or quality issues
• Support with any business issues related to MoldTecs and request support of MoldTecs team as needed
• Drive continuous improvement of products and processes
• Drive operational execution of planned goals and strategies, including rapid adjustments as necessary in response to shop floor operational challenges and changing customer demands
• Deploy and apply sustainable lean practices and tools to implement planned process improvements for plant operations
• Ensures that environmental, health, safety and other plant regulations follow internal and external standards, while promoting a safe working culture
• Manage business metrics performance against best practice in the industry and internal peer groups to identify opportunities to improve business results
• Support timely launch of new cells and products
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key account managers and engineering across the business to drive strategic goals
• Responsible for facility operational measurements:
• Employee safety, customer satisfaction, leadership development, and statutory compliance
• Product quality, production efficiencies, product delivery, and financial acumen/target achievement

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or closely related field
• 5 years of proven experience as a Production Manager in the automotive industry
• Experience in IATF quality systems and ISO14000 environmental
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Experience with SAP (Sales related modules)
• Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Lean methodology experience
• Good logistic skills
