Job Description

Brand Ambassador

Our client is looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, and personable Brand Ambassadors to be the face of a successful cannabis brand in either of the following areas: Las Vegas, Reno, and surrounding regions.

The Brand Ambassador will partner with our client to effectively communicate brand ethos, process, and goals. They will act as the “face” of the brand within the territory, representing the brand in a positive and professional manner at retail, events, and within the cannabis industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Build brand awareness, interact with a wide variety of cannabis customers/clients, and articulate the value proposition of the company.
  • Responsible for signing up new clients, educating consumers, and bringing in insights from the field.
  • Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs, etc.
  • Build constructive customer relationships and team with the Field Sales Manager to close deals.
  • Remain up to date with industry best practices.
  • Transport all promotional material to and from the dispensary where the pop-up event is, and set up the table for the event (computer to demo website, swag to giveaway, branded tablecloth, etc.).
  • Continue building a relationship with the dispensary team to ensure they remain enthusiastic about our client’s products and know how to use the platform.
  • Collaborate with the Field Sales Manager to execute selling programs to increase revenue within a geographic area.
  • Conduct sampling for dispensary staff, patients, and customers to familiarize them with our client’s products.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of products and articulate that to new and loyal consumers.
  • Execute promotions through tracking activities, sales, and communication during demos.
  • Relay all data to Field Sales Manager for recaps.
  • Collect data for a consumer database.
  • 75% Travel required – (Field-based role).

Qualifications:

  • 2 years Brand Ambassador, Bud tending, or Event Staff experience a plus.
  • Must be aged 21 or older.
  • A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (travel required) or reliable transportation.
  • Weekend and Evening Availability required.
  • Strong communicator who is outgoing and high-energy.
  • Strong knowledge of cannabis compliance and regulations in Nevada preferred.
  • Familiar with popular social media platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat, etc., and Weedmaps.
  • Passionate about the cannabis industry.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills, but also able to work autonomously.
  • Great networking and relationship-building skills.
  • Prior experience and success with sales and street marketing are a plus.
  • Brand Ambassadors could work on a part-time basis depending on availability and current needs within the area.

Compensation:

  • Competitive base salary plus bonus potential.
