Job Description

Salary: $35,000 - 65,000 per year Requirements:

• You must be eligible for Reliability clearance, having resided in Canada for at least 5 years.
• A minimum of five (5) years of proven experience in performing QA and testing activities is required.
• You should have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated test scripts, preferably using Typescript/Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Demonstrated experience in a team environment involving large-scale, business-critical applications is necessary.
• Experience as a QA automation developer for Java-based applications is essential.
• You should possess experience with behavioral-driven development, adopting a team-first mentality.
• Capability to manage an end-to-end automation engine is required.

Responsibilities:

• I will expect you to collaborate with scrum teams on major projects to develop mission-critical services, particularly those utilizing microservices architecture.
• You will lead proof of concepts and conduct impact analyses on new features while keeping up to date with the evolution of open-source components.
• Participation in various testing activities such as unit, integration, component failure, performance testing, and disaster recovery will be part of your duties, including crafting and executing test strategies/plans and overseeing defect management.
• You will apply industry best practices to enhance testing speed without compromising quality.
• Testing will be crucial, and you will ensure that the test framework evolves to meet ongoing and future demands.
• You will develop and manage QA automation test cases for Java-based microservices applications, covering both front-end automation and backend API integrations.
• Helping to troubleshoot failures and improve the efficiency of the automation engine using your knowledge of end-to-end test automation and backend integration is also part of your role.
