Job Description

JMC Aviation are working with a global leader in the business aviation industry and are looking to engage with experienced Aircraft Interior Technicians .

This position is offering both permanent and contracting opportunities and is based in Hartford, CT . It offers an excellent hourly rate, per diem and other great benefits. Duties within this role are as follows:

• Fabricate, install, and refurbish aircraft interior equipment and furnishings according to work orders or customer specifications.
• Perform and document all tasks in compliance with relevant manuals and regulations.
• Assist with additional tasks during slow periods, including drop-ins and planned maintenance.
• Be available for international assignments when required.
• Aid in other maintenance disciplines as required.

The ideal candidate would have the following -

• Experience in interiors, such as previous work with wood finishes and soft goods.
• You are capable of disassembling cabinets, removing hardware, and performing inlay work.
• You can strip finishes using heat and a scraper.
• You have experience sanding and prepping raw veneer and hardwood for finishing, including repairing defects in veneer.
• Right to work in the United States.
